The Super Bowl Game between the Ravens and 49ers was ... INCREDIBLE!!!
Now, I have never watched a football game in my life (shame...) but for some reason, I decided last minute to watch. Upon a few passes, the Ravens were causing some arguments, which designated my choice of team for the night. Something about their outbursts, albeit argumentative, just drew them to me. Obviously every call, everything gone right and wrong, counts. Therefore, who wouldn't defend themselves?
I was sucked in. Maybe because Super Bowls are a big deal. Maybe it's the energy and excitement for this event that happens only once a year. Maybe the fact that each coach on opposing teams are brothers had intrigued me. Maybe it was the "bragging" showmanship after a sweet touchdown! Honestly, I LOVE when athletes take pride in their part on scoring. When Jones touched down and did his little wiggle, I WAS ALL OVER IT! I found myself partaking in his victory as if it were my own! Or whenever Usian Bolt never fails to perform his signature pose after a victory ...... I beam with so much pride and joy for someone that I do not even follow. I only knew his name from watching the Olympics one time, but he stood out to me like the Ravens did. Call it cocky, egotistic, or frankly AMAZING.
When the Ravens won .... I was so overjoyed for them! I was overjoyed at what I was witnessing. All the hard work they had put into perfecting their craft, had been worth it at the end. To live, eat, sleep and breathe football on a regular basis... I felt it ... I felt every single blood, sweat, and tears.
This is such an incredible example of how YOUR IDEAL IS POSSIBLE. What you most secretly yearn for is possible, and people will flock to you, not because of fame, but because they can't help but be drawn to you. As if looking into a reflection, a mirror image of what can be, if only we gave that must discipline, effort, and desire in perfecting our own craft, how victorious we each can be.
